Corporation Cut 4m. Roses A Year

A former president of a corporation which annually sent four million cut roses to cities in America was a passenger in the liner Mariposa t day.

He is Mr A. S. Nash, of northern New Jersey, who is paying a short visit to New Zealand, accompanied by his wife. Repairs to Aircraft—The Super Constellation of the United States Navy which was forced to turn back to Christchurch on Sunday evening with engine trouble, is at present under repair, ft is hoped to have the aircraft ready for another attempt to fly to McMurdo Sound at 9 pm. tomorrow.
