Gavin George Parkin, a shop assistant, of Levin, aged 19, son of Mr and Mrs Norris John Parkin. Levin. Patricia Mare Richards, a shop assistant, of Otaki, aged 17, daughter of Mr and Mrs John Oliver Stanley Richards. Otaki The Levin Volunteer Fire Brigade received a call at 11.15 pm. and the brigade and police were quickly on the scene. The truck was upside down in the centre of the road and the cab was flattened to such an extent that it was level with the
tray. An inquest was opened yesterday and adjourned after evidence of identification.
