Women’s Softball CHAMPIONSHIPS CONTINUE
Hagley made elementary errors In the field which allowed Monowai to win when the Canterbury Women's Softball Association continued its championship on Saturday after a break of several weeks.
Kaiapoi produced its best form of the season to win an exciting and fast game against Christchurch. Results were:—
Senior.—Monowai 11, Hagley 4; Kaiapoi 2, Christchurch 1. Intermediate.—Kaiapoi 7, Linwood 0; Vanguard 7, Monowai 0: Christchurch 7, Gonzales 0; United 12, Western Suburbs 11. Junior.—Vanguard 19, Templeton 17; West Old Girls 16. Hagley 8.
