Suburban Matches Start Seventh Round

The first day of the seventh round games in the Suburban Cricket Association’s competitions were played on Saturday in perfect conditions. Papanul, batting first at Sumner, made the good score of 196. R. Bell regained some of his form and scored a good 53. For Sumner, P. Daly, in his first senior game, took seven wickets. Sumner has lost six wickets for 94, with W. Rhtad on 43 not out.

New Brighton did not get on top of the Beckenham bowling. A. Smith played a patient innings for hi* 27 scored In nearly two hours. Earlier in the innings A. Motz had scored a bright 36.
