French Beat * Irish (N.ZJ’.A.-Reuter—Copyright) DUBLIN, January 36. France, with a devastating display of attacking Rugby Union, beat Ireland by 34 points to 5 in the international game at Dublin today. France. after successfully weathering early Irish pressure, won by three goals, one try and two dropped goals, to one goal, scoring U points in the second half. It was France's cearive victory against Ireland. The right wing. C. Darrouy, scored nine of these, running in for three trie*, all of which were converted by the fly-half. P. Albaladejo. Albadejo also dropped a goal, as did the centre. A. Boniface. Ireland, which trailed 5-6 at half-time, opened the scoring with the centre. T. O’Reilly, the ful-back, T. Kiernan, eonThis was France’s fourth successive victory against Ireland. In a fiery rousing match, the Irish made too many errors to against th< brilliant Frenchmen, whose handling and teamwork were superb.
