Firm Tone Continues At Wanganui Wool Sale

WANGANUI, January 9.

The firm tone evidenced on the first day of the Wanganui wool sale continued today when 22.000 bales, the balance of the 45,000 bale catalogue, were submitted. The offering was similar to that of Monday. The following report is issued by ■ the Wanganui Woolbrokers’ Association, in conjunction with the New Zealand Woolbuyers’ Association and the New Zealand Wool Commission. “Compared with the first day, prices for fine crossbreds, second-shear and skirt-
