Smash-And-Grab Raid
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 14. A large rock was used in a smash-and-grab robbery at a jeweller’s shop in Wakefield street, Wellington, between 5.30 p.m. yesterday and 1.40 a.m. today. A quantity of dress jewellery was stolen after a jagged hole had been made in a display window. The proprietor, Mrs D. A.
Martin, today estimated her loss at about £2OO.
