CHARTERED FLIGHT
Mormons From Australia (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 16. A party of 100 Mormons arrived in Auckland from Sydney on Saturday night in a chartered Qantas Electra. The charter cost about £ASOOO. The Mormons are to spend several days carrying out their religious ordinances at the Mormon temple in Hamilton before its annual closing. “We have no temple of our own in Australia,” said a member of the party, “and the Hamilton temple is the closest. Some of our ordinances cannot be carried out other than in a temple.”
