NAPIER, November 29.
A contract worth £292,236 has been awarded to Downer and Company, of Wellington, to lay ’ e sealed runway, taxiway and hardstanding at the Beacons airport, Hawke’s Bay. As toe airport to serve the whole of the Hawke’s Bay area, the Beacons development has been designed by toe Ministry of Works tor the Civil Aviation Administra-
tion and the Hawke's Bay Airport Authority.
