Essay Medal Presented
It was very appropriate that he could present the silver medal for the winner of tiie IMI Commonwealth essay competition to Mr John M. Wilson, a former pupil of St Andrew’s College, on St. Andrew's Day, said Mr D. R. Daniels, the secretary-general of the British Commonwealth Society, at a meeting of the Christchurch branch last evening. Mr Daniels, who is on a visit to Commonwealth Society branches, described the work of the society, making special reference to the two newly established branches. Lagos and Malaya.
