Magee’s Feet Are Badly Blistered

(Special Correspondent N.Z.PA.) PERTH, November 28. The. New Zealand marathon star, Barry Magee, failed to pass a medical board today. But he is not yet out of the race, which will start at 7.40 pun. (New Zealand time) tomorrow unless the heat dictates a postponement.

The doctors agreed to defer decision on him until tomorrow morning. Magee's feet are in a poor condition after his race in the six miles on an iron-hard track last week. He has the skin almost completely removed from two toes and the tissue under the ball of one foot badly bruised. In addition, he is still nursing several blisters.
