Miss M. Wood Retires IN 2 Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov, 28. Miss Minnie Wood, F.C.1.5., secretary of the Royal Society since 1920, announced her retirement today after 42 years' service. The meeting of the society in Wellington passed a motion thanking her for long years of devotion to the cause of science in New Zealand. At a luncheon, the society’s president (Dr. D. C. Fleming) presented Miss Wood with a silver tea service, an inscribed tray, and an illuminated address as a mark of appreciation.
