POLIOMYELITIS CLINICS
Arrangements For December Adults who have yet to take their second dose of oral poliomyelitis vaccine may do so at any of the country children's clinics next month, the Medical Officer of Health (Dr. L. F. Jepson) said yesterday. Tn addition, there will be a clinic for adults open until December 18 at the Mass X-ray unit in Manchester street. The clinic in the waiting-room,. at Cathedral square will be held for this week only. Yesterday, 889 adults received dotes of vaccine in Christchurch, bringing the , total for the second round to 114,047. Ibe national total to last Saturday was 1.050,077 53,634 below the total for the first round.
There win be an open clinic for children in the Orange Hall, Worcester street ,on December 11. The itinerary of country children's cl i nics is:— December 3: Lyttelton. DBrfleld.
