26 HORSES SOUGHT
Malayan To Visit N.Z. (NZ. Press Assn.— Copyright) SYDNEY. Nov. 28. Mir H. M. Lee. of Malaya, reached Sydney by plane today on his way to New Zealand to buy 26 racehorses. Representing the Selangor Turf dub, he has been commissioned to buy toe racehorses and ship them back to Malaya. “I will not be buying champions, but I will be looking for sound racehorses for our tracks in Malaya,” Mr Lee said. “We have four race tracks in Malaya and about 735 horses to ran on them. “Every year we have to import between 150 and 200 racehorses and we import them from anywhere we can get toern. We have imported horses from Australia in toe past,” he added. Mir Lee said that almost all the leading jockeys racing in Malaya textay were AustraIfera, He intends to stay in New Zealand about 10 days.
