BLENHEIM DOG SHOW HELD
Championship Results The Blenheim dog show, Which was held recently, attracted M entries. The best dog in the show award was won by Miss E. Davies’s Welsh Corgi, Costons Consequence (Geraldine). Runner-up was Mr D. Brown’s Shetland sheepdog, Gennessa of Greenbriars (Christchurch). The best puppy award in the show went to Mrs C. M. Cooper’s springer spaniel, Alert of Worthy Downs (Ashburton). Results:— Pugs.—Mr and Mrs West’s Aureate Fan Tan, first open challenge. Pekingese.—Mrs C. L. Ridgen’s ch. Ko Tong of Montressor, first open, challenge. Best toy: Mrs Ridgen’s Red Emperor of Montressor, second open, second Ladies’ Stake, first Toy Stake. Mrs Ridgen’s Tuanne of Montressor, first open challenge. Soft-coated Fox Terriers.— Mr and Mrs N. Tasker’s ch. Matai Matador, first open challenge. second Terrier Stakes, second Visitors’ stake. Mr and Mrs Tasker’s Sue of Ethesome, first puppy challenge. Wire-haired Fox Terrier.— Mrs K. Holland’s Abberly Clinker, first open challenge. Scottish Terriers.—Mrs L. Brown's Muirburn Marvin, first puppy. Mrs Brown's Muirburn Morocco Girl, first junior challenge, best terrier, second Junior Stakes, first Terrier Stake. Miniature Long-haired Dachshund.—Mr J.
