NOTIFIABLE DISEASES
Four Tuberculosis Cases
Four cases of notifiable diseases, all of tuberculosis, were reported in the Christchurch health district last week. One was of a non-pul-monary type, the victim being a Christchurch man. Two other Christchurch men and a woman in Waimairi county, were notified with pulmonary tuberculosis. A man died from tuberculosis in a Christchurch hospital during the week. A 23-month-old girl from Parnassus was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital on Friday after drinking detergent. She was still in hospital yesterday, her condition being described as satisfactory.
