RACING Solus In Form For Invercargill

"The Press" Special Service INVERCARGILL, November 18. Fresh runners, Solus and Becharre, may be more than a match for the first day winner, Astra, in the Southland Handicap, the main event and first leg of the T.A.B. double on the second day of the Southland Racing Club’s spring meeting tomorrow.

With the first day sprint winner Page Boy missing on this occasion. Sudd El Nil, which was runner-up to him on Saturday, will have his chance in the second leg, the Stewards’ Handicap. There was heavy rain in Invercargill late this afternoon and if it persists the track could be greasy.
