Reid’s 100 In 69-Min
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 18. The New Zealand captain, J. R. Reid, was in tremendous form, scoring a century In 69 minutes, when batting for Hutt Valley against Petone yesterday. He went on to hit 138 not out in 91 minutes, and Hutt, set to score 207 runs in 110 minutes for an outright victory, won with four minutes to spare. Reid punished the bowling, hitting 92 of his total in boundaries—-four sixes and 17 fours.
