MISSIONARIES WELCOMED
Baptist Society Elects Officers
Missionaries from the New Zealand Baptist Missionary Society's fields in Tripwa and East Pakistan were welcomed by the president of the society *Mr N. S Gaze) at the annual meeting. Missionaries welcomed were the Rev and Mrs R. A. Alcorn (East Pakistan), Miss P McKeasar (East Pakistan), Doctor and Mrs L. Sanson (India), the Rev. and Mrs J. S Avery (East Pakistan), and the Rev and Mrs B. N. Eade (India). Mr Eade has recently retired after 35 year* of missionary service. Two missionaries from other missionary societies. Miss O. Doke (South Africa) and Dr. Thelma Decroft (New Guinea) were also welcomed. Officers elected to the missionary council of the society were: missionary preacher. Rev. R. E. Buller: deputy. Rev. J. E Simpson; missionary editor. Rev R. E. Buller; missionary box organiser, Mr R. H French; council. Revs G. T. Beilby. G. F. Coombs. B. N. Eade, C. D. Jones. H. Nees, Mr H. J. Hayward. Dr. H. T. Knights, Meedamee R. L V. Fursdon, U. W. Johnston, D. C. Rogers, C. F. Schroeder and Mias G. E. Collins.
