AT THE GUARDS’ DEPOT.—The Duke of Edinburgh inspects a 7.62 mm. selfloading rifle used by the Welsh Guards on the range. The Duke, who is Colonel-in-Chief, was visiting the Guards’ depot, Pirbright Camp, Surrey. He arrived on the drill square by helicopter, and was met by a landing party of guardsmen from the parachute company.
