Owner’s Opinion Of Endeavour (NE. Press Association) , AUCKLAND, October 1«. The hull of the former Antarctic supply vessel Endeavour is not too weak for the ice and is good for another 15 years without any money spent on her according to the ship’s new owner. Captain F. Shaw, of Nova Scotia. Captain Shaw will use the ship extensively in the Arctic for sealing. When the announcement was made that Endeavour would not return to the Antarctic after the 1960-91 season, her captain at the time, Commander R- H. I*. Humby, said that her bones were too week and she was too old for such a strenuous task and could be need only for light work.
