“Model” Thief
(From a Reuter Correspondent] JOHANNESBURG. Posing as a window display model, in a shop in Mayfair, Johannesburg, early one morning, a man fooled passers-by and nearly succeeded in escaping with 120 rand (£6O) worth of clothing. When a sharp-eyed flying squad policeman decided to investigate, however, the ::dummy” suddenly came to life and fled. An African was arrested in the shop.
