MISS GRIGG IN FINAL Championship At Shirley The New Zealand representative, Miss S. Grigg, will play Miss B. Lansley in the final of the Christchurch Ladies' Golf Club's championship at Shirley today. Mln Grigg scored convincing wins against Miss H. R. Buchanan and Miss B. Murray yesterday, while Miss Langley accounted for Miss E. M. B. Nutt and Mrs C. J. Ward Results were:— Championship—Third round' Miss S. Grigg beat Miss H. R. Buchanan. 5 and 3: Miss B. Supply Houses’ Tournament

There were more than 80 competitors when the annual golf tournament sponsored by the supply houses for the printing industry was held at Waitikiri yesterday. An outstanding performance wae that of the Canterbury Freyberg Rose Bowl player. A. W. Robinson, who had six birdies in a round of 69. Results: Whlteombe rose bowl: R. C. Garnett. 77. 8—68: P. F.
