Australian Leaders Advance Strongly
Australian leading issues made further advances in New Zealand trading yesterday, headed by Colonial Sugar (Australian register), up 2s 6d at 44s 6d. Dalgety and New Zealand Loan and Reid Murray were the only overseas issues to lose ground, while 13 others were firmer. „ i^ ea^an^ i shares were uneven, with 13 rises and 11 falls. Mason Struthers advanced sharply to 4s 4d. Meat Packers, Classic Manufacturing, Claude Neon and Sharlands also made good gains. New Zealand Insurance, Milbum Lime and Hellaby were among the sharpest losses*
