Death Of Maori
Woman, Aged 108 (N.Z. Press Associatioii) ' LEVIN, Sept. 17. A Maori women reputed to be more than 108 years of age died in Levin yesterday. She was Mrs Matao Amoa Hetariki, who had lived for many years in Levin with her daughter. She was said to have been born at Tohorati near Dannevirke in 1854, the year of the Baittie of Balaclava in the Crimean campaign.
