Exchange Of Missions (N.Z.P .A .-Reuter— Copyright) SAIGON. Sept. 6. The Governments of South Vietnam and of New Zealand have agreed to exchange diplomatic missions on ambassadorial level to strengthen further the friendly relations between the two nations, the Department of Foreign Affairs announced yesterday. The Vietnamese Ambassador in Canberra. Mr Tran Van Lam, has been concurrently appointed South Vietnam's Ambassador to New Zealand. New Zealand's Ambassador to Thailand. Sir Stephen Weir, will be concurrently appointed Ambassador of New Zealand to South Vietnam. the department said.
