Youth Dies Of Injuries
A 15-year-old youth who was struck by a car in Travis road, near Burwood road, on Thursday evening, died in the Christchurch Hospital at 7 a.m. yesterday He was: William John Tunnage, of 96 Bassett street. Burwood. It is believed that Mr Tunnage was pushing a car along Travis road when he was struck from behind by another car. He was deeply unconscious when admitted to hospital. The police are anxious to interview anyone who saw the accident.
