Further Delay To m.v. Westport
The motor vessel Westport, which has been loaded with cement for Onehunga at Westport since Tuesday, firstly because of the African Reefer dispute, is still in port Bar conditions have been too bad to allow a deoairture. There was a strong set and heavy swell on the bar yesterday Dredger Aground
The Marine Department’s bucket dredger, Maui, became stranded in the Buller river for some time on Thursday evening near the merchandise wharf, but was refloated under her own power on the incoming tide The stranding occurred at almost the same pLce where the Totara was held up a year ago
