Presbyterian Giving
(N.Z Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug 31. The congregations of the Presbyterian Church gave £262.143 towards the work of the General Assembly in the last financial year, said the Church's treasurer (Mr J C. Smail! * today He said £98.116 was spent on overseas missions. £Bi .825 was used to assist new and smaller congregations in New Zealand. £45.371 was given to the Maori Synod, and £ 40,605 was devoted to the training of ministers and deaconesses.
