Willcox First In Memorial
J. Willcox was first home m the Kesteven memorial race conducted by the Christchurch Cash Cycling Club over a distance of 50 miles.
Willcox. J. Blackman, and T. Frew. ail off 13min. took the lead with six miles to go. In a long., hard sprint Willcox held on to take the decision from Frew by Isec. J. Cumming, riding from 3min rode well throughout the race to be sixth and to take fastest time just shading the brilliant junior. F. Hooper, by 0 4sec. Results were:—
