WELLINGTON August 26 Ninety nursing and ambulance cadets from all over New Zealand met in Wellington over the week-end for the Dominion cadet competitions of the St John Ambulance Brigade held at the Wellington Technical College

The Mayor vf Wellington (Mr F J Kitts) opening the competitions on Saturday morning said the competitions sharpened the skill and training provided by the brigade at its various centres throughout New Zes land

“At the Kugby test match at Athletic Park today as at the games throughout the country the brigade will be serving the community.’* he said

The competition judges included a number of sisters ortheir day off from the Welling ton Public Hospital, as well several doctors
