(Massachusetts), August 24 Australian and New Zealand women parachutists were not placed in the sixth world sport parachute jumping championship yesterday The United States won the women’s team accuracy event for 1000 metres and Czechoslovakia won the men’s title. The Czechoslovakian men’s team had a total of 2266.77 points, to 2258 for the French team. The Americans were third with 2255.
The American women scored 1125.132 out of a possible 1200 points Poland was second with 1064 591. and Bulgaria third with 1050.198.
J Charnoek. of New Zealand, is currently ranking competitor from New Zealand and Australia. being sixth in the men’s individual accuracy event. The event is now well behind schedule. Only 500 of the 2MX) jumps have taken place and the championships are due to finish on September 3.
