Final Matches In School Tourney

WESTPORT. August 24 The tinal games in the Seduon Shield districts primary schools Rugby tournament at Westport today saw Nelson slump badly against Marlborough. which won by 14 to 3 West Coast scored an easy win over Buller, by 16 to 3
The weather, which had been bad on the three previous days, cleared up for the games this afternoon and some bright Rugby was seen on Patterson Park. Nelson, which looked certain to win the honours outright with victories in the first three games, was never in the hunt with Marlborough, which could well have won the tournament under better mid-week conditions.
Nelson and Coast tied for the championship with three wins each.
