BRIGHTON POWER BOAT CLUB

Forty-six new members during the financial year brought the total membership of the New Brighton Power Boat Club to 298. according to tihe annual report to be presented on Tuesday. The club commodore (Mr A. W. Lack) reports that it was the best year from a financial aspect that the club had enjoyed. This was largely due to the Boat Show which was held in the King Edward Banracks and proved to be a tremendous success.

The report congratulates P Knight. R. Calvert, J. Keig and R. Prattley on setting records during the season and J Ar.drews who is a club member as well as being a member of the Lake Kanieri club.

The secretary of the club (Mr E. N. Peverill) and the vice-commodore (Mr F. C Williams) have been nominated for election as life members, in recognition of their long service to She club.
