Badminton Christchurch Loses Last Match, But Wins Title

Although losing to Avonside in the final round of matches this week, Christchurch finished a clear winner of the Canterbury Badminton Association’s A grade competition. Christchurch has given steady performances throughout the season in both its men’s and women's sections, and had not suffered a loss until this week, when narrowly defeated by the 1961 champion team.
