Seaman Hurt In 45ft Fall
(N.Z. Press Association) TAURANGA, August 24.
A Japanese seaman was severely injured when he fell 45ft from the radar mast on the log ship Dianonoh M.’-” about 2 p.m. yesterday. He is Quartermaster Kiyota Murayama. aged 29. who was married in Japan three months ago. It is understood that Mr Murayama was clearing a signal when he slipped and fell to the ship’s bridge.
