Rat Droppings In Bread

AUCKLAND. August 23 Over a period of three months, rodent dropipings were found in four loaves of bread baked by Findlays Gold Krust Bakeries, Ltd., and sold to dairies in a large Auckland area. Mr D. S. Morris, for the Health Department, told Mr H Jenner Wily, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland today.
The Magistrate fined the firm a total of £l2O when it pleaded guilty to four charges of selling a loaf of bread containing a rodent dropping.
