N.A.C. FLIGHTS
Effect Of Royal Visit Passengers on aircraft in and out of the Christchurch airport before and just after the arrival of aircraft carrying the King and Queen of Thailand and their entourage will be delayed as little as possible, according to the Christchurch manager of the National Airways Corporation (Mr J. E. Davies). Mr Davies said yesterday that it would be appreciated if passengers leaving Christchurch reported to the Gloucester street air centre rather than at the airport.
The Royal flights would affeot planes between 4.30 p.m. and 5 30 p.m. today, between 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.rn. on Saturday, and between 11.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. on Sunday. Mr Davies said that if passengers acceded to his request there would be the minimum of inconvenience to all concerned.
