Yesberg Beats Twohill (N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL. Aug. 20 An unexpected result of the opening session of the New Zealand amateur billiards championships at Invercargill today was the defeat of one of the favourites for the title. T. Twohill, by T. Yesberg. the Canterbury champion. In a game which was a battle of tactics there was little topclass billiards. Yesberg won by 15 points. He scored 424 to TwohilPs 409. Results:— J. S.
