England beat Pakistan by 10 wickets in the fifth cricket test at the Oval today. Pakistan’s bid to make a ficht of it folded when their last four wickets fell for 34 runs. The 27 runs needed for England's fourth win in the series were quickly scored without loss. Final scores were: England 480 for five wickets declared, and 27 without losing a wicket: Pakistan. 183. and 323.
England captured Pakistan’s last four wickets in 45 minutes today.
Pakistans total of 323 was only the second time in the series they had passed 300. D. S. Sheppard and the w icket* eener, J. T. Murray. quickly scored the 27 runs needed for the win.
