BOMBS IN SPAIN
Newspaper Blasts (N-Z. Press Asm.—Copyright) MADRID. August 20. A time bomb, the second to to off in Madrid in less than three hours, exnloded outside the offices of the Spanish trade unions' newspaper, •‘Pueblo,” early today. The blast caused only minor damage and no casualties, the British United Press reported. The explosion occurred at 330 am. and only a nightwatchman was in the offices
Just after midnight this morning a small bomb exploded outside the office of the Madrid morning newspaper "Ya.” causing minor damage but no casualties.
Early yesterday morning, a bomb exploded near General Franco’s summer residence tn San Sebastian. Mrs Franco was in the palace at the time. Spanish troops rushed to the palace minutes after the explosion, and found another unexploded device nearby. Windows of the palace and of nearby houses were broken.
