Death Duties Bill
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 16.
An Estate and Gift Duties Amendment Bill, introduced to Parliament today, gives effect to the Budget announcement that in the estates of persons dying on or after June 28. 1962, the exemption for a widow's succession will be increased from £7500 to £lO,OOO, and the exemption for a widower's succession from £lOOO to £5OOO
