Athletics Remits
AIOST of the remits to be X ’ A presented at the annual meeting of the Canterbury centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association next, month are of a domestic nature, but two or three should produce some discussion. Toe H will ask that a junior decathlon be held with the settlor event, and both Toe H and Technical will recommend that three
handicappers instead of one be appointed for the season. Technical, which will present 13 remits, will also recommend that the centre suggest to the national body that one additional New Zealand selector be appointed for each island. Another Technical remit of interest is that the six miles be held as the last event on the first Saturday of the provincial titles.
