League DEADLOCK IN S. AFRICA
Board Offers Solution (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. August 14. South Africa will be made an honorary member of the International Rugby League Board if recommendations are adopted by the two organisations in the country—Rugby League South Africa, and the National Rugby League Mr W. Fallowfield (Britain». secretary of the board, which met in Auckland today, said that he and Mr A. Blain (Francel had met officials of both Leagues to help to solve a deadlock between them.
“The recommendations are that the National Rugby League forms clubs within itself to become members of Rugby League. South Africa." Mr Fallowfield said.
"These clubs would have representation on a governing body. If these recommendattona are adopted bj' the two organisations. then Rugby League, South Africa, will be accepted as an honorary member.”
