Pupils From Overseas Two boy students had come to Linwood High School from Kuala Lumpur, the headmaster (Mr P A Hickling’ said at last evening’s meeting of the school’s board of governors. The students. Li.m Sang Meng and Chin Sin Pin. were in the fifth form and would sit University Entrance examinations next year, he said. Mr Hickling said 244 students would sit School Certificate examinations this year. 66 University Entrance examinations. and three would try for University Entrance Scholarships The Department of Education approved a grant of £384 for interior renovations. £7O 2s 6d for a safe to replace one stolen recently. and £317 additional cost for dressing rooms at Athletic Park.
