Savings Survey hi Capital
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 6. A survey of savings patterns is to be carried out this week in Wellington and the Hutt Valley for the Savings Committee. The survey will be on a pilot scale of approximately 100 households and the results will enable the committee to decide whether a more comprehensive research should be carried out. Children Poisoned.—T w o children who took poisons were treated at the Christchurch Hospital last week. A two-year-old girl swallowed laxative tablets and a three-year-old girl medical lotion. Both were treated and discharged.
