Anniversary Of Old Pupils The Dominican CoHoges Ex-Pupils’ Association celebrated its twenty-first anniversary recently by holding a cocktail party and dinner in Chrisitetourcii. The president (Mrs Pat Murrey) welcomed members, who included Miss Rita Falconer. the first secretary of the association. When proposing the toast to the Dominican sisters, Mrs Hugh Fraer said that former pupils were grateful for the help given to them by sisters of the three colleges—St. Catibertoe’s (Invercargill), St. Dominic’s (Dunedin), and St. Patrick’s (Tesohemakers). The Dominican sisters also conducted a school for the deaf at Feilding and a hostel tor students in Dunedin, she said. The reply to the toast from the Mother Prioress-General was read by Mrs J. J. Small. The organising committee tor the anniversary celebration consisted of Mesdames P. Murray, H. Fnaer, R. Boswell, L. Bennetts, D. J. Reid, J. Davis, J. J. Small B. J. McManus and M. Evans, Misses M. MacLachlan and T. Layburn, and Mid G. E. Pollock (secret ary).
