Flight From Sydney To Hong Kong
A New Zealand pilot, Cap-: tain A. R. Probert, was in J command of a Qantas jet aircraft which recently made the first commercial non-stop flight from Sydney to Hong Kong, a distance of 4760 miles. The aircraft carried cargo! and 51 passengers, and made the journey in nine hours 32minutes. The average speed was 500 miles an hour.
