Message To Queen Mother
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 5. The Governor-General has seat the following telegram to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, on the occasion of Her Majesty’s birthday: “The Government and people of New Zealand and its island territories respectfully tender to your Majesty their warmest congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of your Majesty's birthday.” (Signed) Cobham, Gover-nor-General.
