Gaol Term For Assault
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. August 3 A sentence of 12 months' mprisonment was imposed by Mr Justice Hutchison in the Supreme Ccurt at Wellington today on Glen Conner, aged 18. a builder's labourer, when he aptpeared for sentence on a charge of causing grievous bodily harm to a Chinese shopkeeper. His Honour directed that the sentence be cumulative with a sentence of 18 months' imprisonment imposed in June cn a charge of aggravated robbery. Peter John Brown, aged 16. unemployed, who vat jointly convicted of the offence with Conner, was admitted to probation for two years.
